TSC threw a tech sales event and I was asked to make a promo video, including product imageries, marketing messages and brand logos. This kind of sales event only live for one or two days, so we only get so much time to work on these projects, but I was very excited to work on this project. I started with my usual process of gathering references.
I realized a lot of animations for tech stuffs usually have dynamic animations and bold colours to go with the vibe. I chose some primary colours from TSC brand colour palette, and started to work on a storyboard with images and text layouts.
There was some limitations because I could only use product display images from TSC library, but my creative director liked the boldness of images and animation and I also liked this project because I could explore more animation options for TSC, since the target customers were younger generation from standard TSC customers, which is the direction TSC wants to push moving forward.
